Evaporative Cooling For Warehouse

All Seasons Hire have recently supplied and installed two Breezair Industrial Evaporative Coolers to Cool a warehouse area. Between them the two Evaporative Coolers will be able to Cool a 240m2 area of the warehouse. These units were ideal for this application as there was no way that the hot Air that is produced by normal Air Conditioning Systems could be vented outside, and Evaporative Coolers do not produce heat that needs to be vented.

All Seasons Hire Evaporative Coolers Cool air through the simple process of Evaporation, for this the Cooling Units are filled with a supply of water and need to be topped up to continue Cooling. Alternatively a hose pipe can be run from a tap to the Evaporative Cooler to provide a continuous source of water. As water Evaporates it Cools whatever it is in contact with, in the case of Evaporative Coolers this is the Air being passed through the machine via a Fan.

Chilled Display Hired by All Seasons Hire to Nightclub

A nightclub in Reading held a champagne reception at a weekend party, for which they needed extra chilled storage.

Three Chilled Display Commercial Refrigeration Units were recently Hired to a nightclub in Reading by All Seasons Hire. The Upright Chillers were supplied to store and display champagne for a party in the nightclub, supplementing the existing Refrigeration Units. The Commercial Refrigeration Units selected for this application were the FS1380 Glass Door Merchandiser. These Chilled Display Units are 6 foot tall with a full length glass panel door, enabling full display of the products inside. The FS1380 Refrigeration Units also feature adjustable shelving making them a very versatile Chilled Display Unit that can be used for many applications. In this case the Chilled Display Units were only Hired for a weekend event, with All Seasons Hire able to deliver the Refrigeration Units a week in advance. This enabled the nightclub to have somewhere to store the large order of champagne when it arrived in advance of the Event.

Process Chilling for Chemical Manufacture

A Chiller Unit has been supplied to a chemical manufacturer in Poland to add extra cooling duty to their process plant.

When a leading chemical manufacturer ran into Process Cooling issues at one of its gas production plants in Poland they knew they needed additional Cooling Duty. Having previously dealt with All Seasons Hire in the UK they returned for help on this new Process Cooling project. The need for the additional Cooling Duty arose when the plant increased production of gas, putting too much strain on the existing Cooling System. All Seasons Hire was able to deliver and install a 160Kw MTA Process Chiller directly to site covering the Cooling Duty shortfall over a 4 month period, whilst production

Portable Boiler Hire for Floor Drying

Under floor heating system utilised for the drying of wet screed in building project, enabled by All Seasons Boiler Hire

When the construction completion date of a new building was being put back due the floor screed not Drying quickly All Seasons Hire were called in to help. The problem was exacerbated by the poor weather conditions and high levels of Ventilation in the areas of Drying. However All Seasons Hire could supply the perfect solution to the Drying problem in the form of 22Kw three phase Portable Electric Boilers. These Boiler Units were supplied complete with heat exchangers and pipe work and could be quickly connected to the already installed Under Floor Heating System. Upon receiving the call for help an All Seasons Hire engineer visited the site to determine the exact requirements of the project. It was at this point that it was advised that the existing Under Floor Heating System could be utilised for the Drying of the screed. The 22Kw three phase Portable Electric Boilers were connected to the Under Floor Heating manifolds, via temporary flexible pipe work, pumping low temperature hot water around the system.

The 22Kw Portable Electric Boiler units can also be use to supply emergency Heating and Hot Water to finished buildings whilst the existing Boiler is undergoing Planned Maintenance or breaks down.

Boiler Hire to Leisure Centre in Latvia

All Seasons Hire have sorted out the heating problems of a leisure centre based in Latvia.

When a leisure centre called All Seasons Hire enquiring about Renting a Boiler Unit on a long term Hire All Seasons was happy to help. The leisure centre needed a Boiler to provide Heating throughout the building and also to Heat up the swimming pool water. Upon closer inspection it was discovered that the leisure centre was located in Latvia, however this was no problem for All Seasons Hire and shipment of the Boiler from the UK was offered. The Boiler selected for the application was a 250KW unit which was shipped from the UK to the site in Latvia, where it was met by an experienced Boiler engineer. The Boiler engineer was then on site to perform the installation and commissioning of the Heating System.

Chiller System for the Cold Store at a chicken farm

When the Chiller System for the Cold Store at a chicken farm broke down a quick Cooling Solution was needed. A call was put in to All Seasons Hire to find out what Low Temperature Cooling Solutions could be offered. The Chiller System recommended by All Seasons Hire was a 50Kw Glycol Chiller with two 20Kw Air Handling Units. The 50Kw Chiller unit was situated externally with the two Air Handling Units located within the Cold Store to distribute the Conditioned Air. The Cold Store needed to be constantly maintained at temperatures below 0oC. This meant that All Seasons Hire had to take extra considerations including fitting the Air Handling Units with defrost systems. The Chiller System operated successfully for a number of months until the new Fixed Cooling System had been installed and commissioned.

Emergency Boiler Hire for Police Headquarters

Mass prisoner transportation avoided by quick response of heating Hire Company.

The headquarters building of a major midlands police force has suffered the loss of Heating and Hot Water. This was caused by a major failure to the buildings Boiler, the problem was so severe that the Boiler could not be repaired quickly. However the police station put in a call to All Seasons Hire to find out if a Temporary Heating and Hot Water solution could be arranged. All Seasons Hire understood the importance of the situation and immediately acted to provide an appropriate Heating and Hot Water Package. A 500Kw Packaged Boiler was delivered complete with Hot Water Pumps and Clarifier to the police station, where an All Seasons Hire engineer then installed the Boiler system. The quick response to the emergency situation by All Seasons Hire meant that both Heating and Hot Water was restored to the building within 8 hours of the original enquiry. This quick reaction meant that the police headquarters could be kept open. This was critical as if the police headquarters had to be shut down because of the Boiler breakdown, then prisoners in the on site cells would have to have been moved to a new location, saving the police considerable time and money.

Heater Hire Levels Increasing. Is it Really Summer?

Even with increasing temperatures this summer, heater hire levels are on the up and up.

Despite being well into summer All Seasons Hire has been seeing an increasing trend in enquiries for Heater Hire. The reason for this trend is surprisingly not because this summers weather is so poor, but because of increased requirements form the Specialist Hire Industry.

These include such needs as load testing for newly installed Fixed Air Conditioning. This is where Heaters are Hired in once a new Fixed Air Conditioning System has been installed, to increase the temperature in the area to make sure the Fixed Air Conditioning System can cope with high ambient temperatures.

With the summer months coming to a close people planning private evening Events outdoors are looking to take the chill off after dark. All Seasons Hire recently supplied several Electric Fan Heaters to heat up a Marquee for an evening party. These Fan Heaters were perfect for this application as they provide 3Kw of Heating power from a standard 13amp household plug. For many parties based in a Marquee it is best to use Electric Heating as Gas and Diesel create safety problems in the form of dangerous fumes and the possibility of things accidentally catching fire.

Air Conditioning at Prestigious Art Gallery

All Seasons Hire have recently supplied the air conditioning system for a prestigious art exhibition.

When a large gallery were holding a week long art exhibition they turned to All Seasons Hire to provide the Air Conditioning. After being contacted well in advance of the exhibition date All Seasons Hire began to extensively plan the provision of the necessary Cooling Equipment. During this planning stage All Seasons Hire attended the site on three occasions to carry out site surveys, making sure that every aspect of the Air Conditioning Installation had been thoroughly thought out.

The Air Conditioning System supplied by All Seasons Hire included three separate Chillers and nine Air Handling Units including all necessary accessories and pipework. This configuration of units was used due to the layout of the venue suiting separate systems for each of the three rooms to be Cooled. Each room had its Air Conditioning supplied by a dedicated 50Kw Chiller, running three 15Kw Air Handling Units to distribute the Cooled Air evenly.

Due to the prestigious nature of the Event All Seasons Hire took several extra steps during the three day install of the Air Conditioning System. This included using a special Silenced Generator to supply the electricity for the Chillers. With the Air Handling Units running off of standard 13amp plugs inside the venue. All the pipework connecting the Chillers to the Air Handling Units was discreetly installed running along the ceiling

The nature of the Event meant that special attention had to be paid to all aspects of the job. Special car was taken whilst installing the water pipework to ensure no damage to the venue or exhibition items. Whilst the Air Conditioning System was in place All Seasons Hire offered a 24 hour emergency call out service so that any problems could be quickly solved. However the service was not needed and the Event was a great success.

All Seasons Hire Attend HEVAR Exhibition

All Seasons Hire has recently hosted a stand at the HEVAR Exhibition in London. The HEVAR exhibition runs annually for two days aimed at the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning industry. Providing the opportunity for attendees to source suppliers and products, network, and take advantage of a free seminar programme. With 67 exhibitors there were plenty of people to see around the show.

The All Seasons Hire stand featured on display a 22Kw Portable Electric Boiler. This unit is perfect for smaller Heating and Hot Water applications where the use of electricity as a fuel source is more appropriate. The Boiler unit is extremely Portable, with the unit being mounted on wheels, and not having to have a bulky fuel tank or a static gas connection.

The stand also had on display a 15Kw Air Handling Unit which is usually used in conjunction with either an All Seasons Hire Boiler or Chiller unit to provide warmed or cooled air respectively. Alternatively these Air Handling Units can be used to distribute air from one of All Seasons Heat Pump Chillers, meaning either Heated or Cooled Air can be distributed using a single system.

All Seasons Hire has just taken delivery of their latest Portable Packaged Boiler Rooms. Four 250kW Portable Boilers were delivered to the company in January 2009. This is the first batch of several newly designed Containerised Portable Boilers that are due for delivery between January and March 2009. The first delivery of the 2009 Portable Boilers are capable of delivering 250kW of Heating and Hot Water duty; they are fully self contained and designed to the highest standard using quality parts and components. The Boiler is manufactured by Ferroli, the Pumps are Gundfoss, Heat Exchangers are Alpha Laval, controls and electrical components are Siemens; all other components are also manufactured to a high specification. The Portable Boiler Room is designed for easy installation and maintenance; it is fully compliant to UK quality standards and can be run on Diesel Oil or Natural Gas.

A power shortage caused by damaged to the main supply caused a well known London Restaurant to loose its heating during the busy Xmas holiday period. All Seasons Hire received a call asking for help and immediately responded with a Portable Heating solution. Commercial Director Andy Hamilton stated; “we rushed to site to find a limited electricity supply. The restaurant was fully booked and it needed to be heated up ready for its customers who had pre booked their tables. The current cold snap has caused several heating systems to overload and breakdown. All Seasons Hire has been busy during the period between Xmas and New Year delivering Portable Heating for a variety of businesses.

When a large Facilities Management Group needed help during the Xmas holiday period, their National Portable Air Conditioning Supplier failed to respond to their call!

Things were getting hot in a central London server room due to a Fixed Air Conditioning break down. When the actors were getting over heated during filming for a feature film All Seasons Hire were called in to provide Temporary Air Conditioning.
