All Seasons Hire have worked tirelessly to simultaneously achieve three ISO accreditations with the assistance of The British Assessment Bureau.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 combine to set All Seasons Hire above and beyond other organisations for its quality of management, environmental responsibility and adherence to strict health and safety codes of conduct.
The ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard accreditation creates an internal business system where staff know exactly who’s doing what, when and how. By operating in such an environment the accredited organisation can save time, reduce costs, improve profitability and increase staff efficiency which in turn allows them to provide a far better level of customer service.
An ISO 9001 certificate also indicates to other businesses that the accredited company is reliable and has stringent and effective business management policies in place. This removes the need for assessment and ensures other companies that any business undertaken with the accredited organisation will be handled professionally and efficiently.
Kelvin Fogwill, All Seasons Hire’s Managing Director, said: “ISO 9001 has been very effective at streamlining our operations. It also encourages continual business development, particularly through the implementation of yearly audits.”
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard of business environmental impact management and reduction. Not only does this improve a company’s green credentials it also leads to increased resource efficiency and therefore improved margins.
ISO 14001 is also often stipulated in tenders and supply chains. Therefore, attaining the accreditation opens up new business opportunities for an organisation. Most importantly of all, in a climate of global responsibility, ISO 14001 clearly indicates a business’s commitment to caring for the environment.
Kelvin Fogwill commented: “ISO 14001 really makes you think about your company’s environmental impact, especially in areas you may not have considered before. For example, we’ve switched all our external lighting to low energy bulbs and have looked into coordinating deliveries to reduce distances travelled. Best of all, this has saved the business money.”
The OHSAS 18001 accreditation certifies that the qualified company is operating to an effective and thorough occupational health and safety management system. This system ensures a safe and healthy working environment by outlining a clear framework that allows an organization to quickly identify and neutralise its health and safety risks.
This, in turn, lets an organization reduce its potential for accidents, improve legislative compliance and streamline overall performance. OHSAS 18001 also indicates to other organisations that the accredited company has a well organised health and safety system and all the benefits associated with it.
Kelvin Fogwill said: “In conjunction with Peninsula our health and safety regulations, and the way in which we deal with health and safety incidents, has improved dramatically. A proper reporting structure has allowed us to determine areas of risk and improve on them quickly and efficiently”
Robert Fenn, a Director at the British Assessment Bureau commented on the company’s achievement;
“Having been through a rigorous audit process, All Seasons Hire have shown their commitment to demonstrate to clients that they are a trustworthy and reliable business that delivers a consistently high level of service. Meeting these three globally recognised standards puts the organisation in an exclusive club, normally occupied by only the largest of multi-national organisations.”
About All Seasons Hire
As one of the leading HVAC hire and leasing companies in the UK All Seasons Hire are continuously striving to improve their business model and environmental impact. With a nationwide fleet of boilers, chillers, air handlers, air conditioners, heaters & dehumidifiers operating 24/7, to 48 hour quote to installation timelines, there is an extensive infrastructure network to be monitored for environmental and health and safety compliance.
In addition to this, as one of the very few HVAC hire and leasing companies to carry out bespoke chiller and boiler builds in our onsite manufacturing and design facility, we are aware of additional health and safety issues that need to be monitored and prevented from occurring.
This is helping All Seasons Hire build long term relationships with key national businesses across multiple sectors. We are now preferred supplier to national companies in facilities management, retail, manufacturing, process engineering and corporate environments through the provision of a variety of heating and cooling solutions, all year round.
Our commitment to the delivery of service and quality, together with our consistent growth, means we are now managing projects to service level agreements of as little as 4 hours with clients in up to 750 locations, nationwide, 24/7. It means we are responsible for ‘business as usual’ for some of the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturers during the coldest winters and hottest summers. It means we are on hand to schools, hospitals and care homes with heating and hot water when boiler rooms are flooded. It means we are a business who go above and beyond for all of our customers to provide the necessary means for them to continue with theirs.
