All Seasons Hire Provide Large Scale Emergency Heating to Oxford Army Base

All Seasons Hire were recently called on to provide temporary heating at Dalton Barracks in Abingdon, through a 5 Mega Watt temporary heating system.

As part of a series of planned works, the existing boilers at Dalton Barracks were due to be replaced & required a seamless transition from old to new – All Seasons Hire were called in to recommend a solution to enable the base to continue its operation.

In order to develop the best possible solution All Seasons Hire assessed the works through their team of experienced senior boiler engineers, with a detailed site survey & scope of works.

The plan included the design & build of bespoke manifolds in order to provide a single flow & return line, connecting all six component boilers along with a 20,000 litre fuel tank that was also supplied to support round the clock operation.

All Seasons Hire were on hand for the base throughout the course of the replacement works & through key execution of the delivery, installation & commissioning of the temporary boiler system, supported the base in line with their key time frames & service levels.

  • 2 x 1.2 MW Boilers
  • 2 x 600 kW Boilers
  • 2 x 500 kW Boilers
  • 20,000 Fuel Tank
  • Sleepers/scaffolding planks
